Laminar Research has made update 12.4.1 available in beta for X-Plane 12, and while it’s not a major one, it still includes some interesting additions.
The Airbus A330 got new additions, including a functional and visible Ram Air Turbine, improved TCAS, and more. It also got a new special livery dedicated to X-Plane itself.
There are also new scenery assets for creators, including new gravel textures and European-style (or better, Non-American-style) trucks. This certainly helps immersion, considering that America loves its American-style trucks and literally no one else in the world does.
There are also more CPU optimizations, improvements to real-world weather, and the addition of the weather radar overlay for the X1000 avionics.
You can find a few screenshots below, alongside a handy summary.

- Additional A330 improvements
- X1000 improvements
- More CPU performance improvements + Stability Improvements
- New scenery assets: EU Trucks and Gravel
- Weather Improvements: Including Altimeter jumps
- Honeycomb hardware default profiles
You can find the full update notes on the official site, including detailed explanations for each of the added features and tweak.
