The presentation began by revealing the latest main story content, which will consist of Chapter III, Act IV, Gold Suspended in Shadows, and the follow-up chapter Segue: Afterstory Rabbit Reflected in Shades, alongside the introduction of the new playable Resonator, Sigrika.

A new high-difficulty mode, Endstate Matrix, is being added to recurring challenges and will push players to their limits with multiple Challenge Stages. The first event, Doomsday Cycle, isset to take place from Version 3.2 to Version 3.4. Other additions include a new Tactical Hologram challenge, Hyvatia, Expedition Motorbike liveries (Queen & Violet), weapons (Solsworn Ciphers), and events (Soar to the Beat rhythm event, the Gift of Solsworn, & Knights of the Wild.

Wuthering Waves Version 3.2 will also feature plenty of quality of life gameplay improvements, including:

  • Streamlined Resonator rewards – In the Resonator trial event “Ascendant Aces,” directly claim the rewards for Resonators whose trials have been completed in a previous version, without having to repeat challenges
  • Improved Motorbike Autopilot Mode – Adjusted the obstacle-avoidance logic to reduce sudden turns caused by overly sensitive detection while driving
  • Optimized Motorbike chassis adaptability – This reduces instances of getting stuck on small bumps or uneven terrain, allowing for smoother travel
  • Smart Discard for Echo Management –
  • Adjusted the underlying logic of Echo management – Plans can now be edited, allowing players to batch-process Echoes once they’ve finalized an optimized Echo management plan. Plans can now be shared and even imported between players.
  • Optimized Echo Backpack – When the total number of stored Echoes exceeds a certain threshold, you will be reminded to use Smart Discard, and when the total number of discarded Echoes exceeds a certain threshold, you will be reminded to use Data Merge

On the performance side of things, a new “High Quality” option will be available for compatible, higher-performance mobile devices, and a “Render Distance” option has been added for PC players.

Wuthering Waves Version 3.2 releases as a free game update on March 18, at 11 pm EST. The free-to-play ARPG game is also in development for PS5, so be sure to check back for news on this and other previous and upcoming updates.
