Simuverse Interactive has announced Winter Resort Simulator 3, revealing a teaser trailer for the next installment in the simulation franchise.
The upcoming simulator puts players in charge of managing a winter resort, which can be done on their own or in co-op with friends. The upcoming sim has been rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5, setting it up for more detail in the environment and vehicles and a bigger resort world compared to past Winter Resort Simulator titles.
The simulator is also being developed with modding in mind.
Managing a winter resort comes with a lot of different responsibilities, including driving officially licensed vehicles through whatever weather is present, operating cable cars, building and expanding the resort, and managing the day-to-day.
It’ll be six years between Winter Resort Simulator 2 and the next installment in the series. During this time, Simuverse Interactive worked on other simulators, such as SubwaySim 2.

Winter Simulator Resort 3 is set to release in Winter 2026 on PC and consoles, though which consoles weren’t revealed. However, Simuverse Interactive called the upcoming sim its first console release and pointed out that it’ll be cross-platform.
Maximilian Rudorfer, the CEO of Simuverse Interactive, shared thoughts on the announcement:
“Winter Resort Simulator was our very first title, a game built from pure passion and love for simulation. WRS3 marks the beginning of a new era for a game series that has always been close to our hearts.”
