Drzewiecki Design is known as one of the best scenery developers for Microsoft Flight Simulator in the industry, and it will soon release Warsaw Chopin Airport.

Identified with the ICAO code EPWA and the IATA code WAW, Warsaw Airport is the most relevant airport in Poland, so it’s quite appropriate that we get a rendition by Drzewiecki Design, which is based in Warsaw itself.

According to a new post on the developer’s Instagram account, the airport is “turning base,” which means that it’s quite close to release.

If you’re unfamiliar with aviation lingo, “turning base” is the second-to-last turn when you circuit around a runway, just before you perform the last turn toward the runway threshold to land.

The post also included a large batch of screenshots, which are rather impressive. Not only do they show the highly-detailed airport, but also Drzewiecki Design’s top-notch static aircraft. Of course, they can be deactivated if you’d rather keep the aprons and hangars free of obstructions.

You can watch them below.

If you’d like to enjoy more screenshots, you can check out another post on the airport, a second, and a third.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
