Gaijin Entertainment has just announced a brand new line of aircraft are coming to its hit free-to-play vehicular combat multiplayer game, War Thunder, as a part of the next update. The Royal Thai Air will be joining the fight to help reinforce the Japanese air tree.
You can see a breakdown of each of the planes coming as a part of the War Thunder Thai line and some official screenshots below:
- F-84G – A strong fighter and a capable CAS platform that will bolster ground battle lineups as a versatile strike aircraft.
- Alpha Jet A – Strike aircraft boasting cannons and four all-aspect AIM-9P4 air-to-air missiles.
- Alpha Jet TH (Phase 1) – Features four all-aspect AIM-9P4 air-to-air missiles with some great ground ordnance.
- F-5A & F-5T SCU “Tigris – Boasts a typical array of ground attack weaponry and can equip Python 3 air-to-air missiles.
- AV-8S (Late) & A-7E- An advanced strike aircraft with a wide variety of CAS options and air-to-air weaponry that let them stay competitive in all modes.
- F-16A Block 15 OCU & JAS39C Gripen – Feature advanced weaponry options that give the edge in both air and ground combat, providing versatility.
War Thunder is currently available for PC (Steam & Windows), PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. It is an online battle game/light simulator that lets players enjoy aircraft, tanks, ground vehicles, and ships.
The game is currently free-to-play and features microtransactions, but it also receives consistent patches, including the recent War Thunder Firebirds update that brought new aircraft and more improvements.
