Orbx released a brand new update of its flight tracking application Volanta, numbered v1.10.11 and bringing to the table new features and improvements.
Interestingly, the new version adds support for FlightGear 2024, which is quite timely since it received a new stable release (2024.1.1) after several years. If you’re not familiar with it, FlightGear is a niche but interesting open-source flight simulator that debuted all the way back in 1997.
We also get a “large” security and performance upgrade, and a map of handcrafted scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020.
Of course, the new version also comes with its healthy dose of bug fixes.

- Stopped upcoming flights showing up automatically in the schedules menu, instead making it a toggle on the roster panel.

- Fixed hidden aircraft not being hidden from the aircraft map.
- Fixed the scenery scanner loading infinitely in some cases.

The app is platform-agnostic, so it’s compatible with all major simulators including Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, DCS World, and Prepar3D, It’s available on PC, iOS, and Android.
