Orbx updated the mobile app tied to its flight tracking software Volanta to version 1.3.0, bringing new quality-of-life features and more.

The app, which is exclusive to premium subscribers, will now showcase screenshot galleries on profile pages with the ability to sort them in various ways.

The ability to view one’s teams and their statistics, leaderboards, and chat has also been made available, while you can check out landing events on all flights.

Visuals, performance, and stability have also been improved across the board alongside the usual serving of fixes.

You can check out the full patch notes below from the application’s official Discord server.

Enhancements,

Fixes,

If you’re unfamiliar with Volanta, it’s a flight-tracking application published by Orbx that is free to download, and comes with a growing set of features on top of the basic ability to track your flights.

You can also opt to pay a premium subscription (which is required to use the mobile app) monthly or yearly to unlock even more advanced features like Scheduled pause and more.

Volanta is platform-agnostic, so it’s compatible with all major flight simulators, including Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024Microsoft Flight SimulatorX-PlaneDCS World, Prepar3D, and more.

It’s currently available for PC, iOS, and Android, on top of a handy web browser version, which you can check out without an account to see who’s flying at any given time.

The desktop version recently received an update of its own, introducing offline tracking and more.
