Zombie Survival Game Vein Gets Update 0.020 With Plenty of Improvements

Vein

Ramjet Studios released another relevant update for its 3D zombie survival FPS Vein.

Numbered 0.20, the patch includes some features that were previously discussed albeit some have been left for later updates.

We get the ability to build fences on top of each other, new skintones, new weapons, improved gardening UI, a fish journal and more.

Rust has also been decoupled from damage in vehicles, improving their ubsability and customizability.

The fish journal will extend to into a wildlife log that will be used with the upcoming hunting system as well.

Unfortunately, save games generated with version 0.19 are not compatible with the new patch.

Below you can read the full patch notes.

If you’re unfamiliar with Vein, it’s a first-person zombie survival game that could be considered roughly as a fully 3D version of the popular Project Zomboid.

It’s coming for PC on Steam, and an extensive demo is already playable. It’s constantly updated and it comes with enough content to be enjoyed and played extensively even before the full release. This is a rather user-friendly alternative to early access, meaning that you can download and enjoy the current build without having to spend any money.

While Vein is available in its demo form only on PC, it’ll also come for Xbox Series X|S when it’s completed.
