VCT Pacific announced that both VCT Ascension Pacific and Game Changers Pacific will be held in Bangkok in 2025, returning to the capital of Thailand after one year.
The official X account for VCT Pacific shared the news of the upcoming location, along with a vague October date. No specifics of time or exact dates were given.
This isn’t the first time VCT Ascension Pacific or Game Changers Pacific will be in Bangkok. VCT Ascension Pacific was also held there in 2023, and Game Changers Pacific was held there last year. There was also a VCT Masters held in Bangkok earlier this year.
It’s not uncommon for locations to switch up year by year. In fact, Game Changers Pacific has seen more change than stability — even VCT Ascension Pacific has switched from Jakarta to Bangkok twice now.
VCT Ascension Pacific is an event that gives smaller teams the chance to rise into the VCT Pacific League. Game Changers Pacific is part of Valorant’s dedication to diversity in its esports. Game Changers particularly focuses on bringing players from around the world together regardless of gender and background.
All of these events, including the upcoming ones in Bangkok, can be watched live on the official VCT Pacific YouTube channel.
While VCT Ascension Pacific will funnel into the VCT Pacific League, Game Changers Pacific will go into the Game Changers Championship.
