Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Adds Lasombra & Toreador Back to Its Base Game

Today, Paradox Interactive and The Chinese Room have revealed that Lasombra and Toreador clans will indeed be in the base version of their upcoming blood-sucking RPG, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2.

Originally, it was announced that the only people who would have access to the Lasombra and Toreador clans in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 were those who got the DLC that comes alongside the Premium Edition. After some negative fan feedback, the team decided to make them available for anyone who purchases the regular game when it launches.

Instead of the clans, those who get the Premium Edition will now have two additional story packs to explore: Loose Cannon and The Flower & the Flame, which explore Seattle through the perspectives of Camarilla Sheriff Benny Muldoon and Primogen Ysabella Moore. You’ll also get two unique outfits for Phyre in the main game as well if you get this pack.

For those who haven’t heard about the game yet, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is the sequel to the cult classic Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, letting players step into its story through two distinct, alternating perspectives: Elder vampire Phyre and Malkavian detective Fabien. To survive as each, you’ll need to navigate Camarilla politics and master one of six clans: Brujah, Tremere, Banu Haqim, Ventrue, Toreador, or Lasombra.

Every choice matters in the game, as they’ll have significant consequences based on if you choose to protect the Masquerade or go into business for yourself. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be released on October 21, 2025, and will be available on Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
