Transport Fever 3 is set to be bigger and better than ever, tasking players with designing and managing transport systems, including railways, roads, air transport, and shipping lanes.

There are four different environments, three from past games and one brand-new one: temperate, desert, tropical, and sub-arctic. These environments will impact the systems players create as terrain gets in the way.

Transport Fever 3 has three gameplay modes: Tycoon Mode, Campaign Mode, and Sandbox Mode. These modes were chosen by listening to community feedback and watching how players enjoyed previous games best.

Tycoon Mode has a better learning curve. Now, it’s a bit easier to get started while adding more depth to the later parts of the game. Additionally, there’s a new feature called Contracts that helps players at the start while also becoming riskier and more rewarding later on.

Campaign Mode is a brand-new mode to the series, and it puts players in scenarios that were created by historical transportation issues. Sandbox Mode will give players the chance to use their creativity and create beautiful cities in the dynamic world.

The world of Transport Fever 3 is fully simulated with different settlements and industries that all grow based on the player’s decisions. Each settlement can grow into a major city if given the chance. Plus, there are over 250 different transportation devices.

Other features were included based on community feedback from previous games, like a day/night cycle, new transportation forms (like helicopters and cargo-trams), and offshore industries.
