Today, Dovetail Games took a bit of time to lay out the tracks for the upcoming content for hits hit locomotive simulator, Train Sim World 6.
The upcoming roadmap for content that is arriving soon covers up to the next three months. This includes a handful of free stuff that is set to arrive this month, like the Starter Pack Last Chance, which ends November 11, 2025.
One of the first updates is the Frankenbahn: Stuttgart – Heilbronn. This new southwest German route features new DB BR 140 and New Wittenberger Steuerwagen cab car, as well as the DB BR 111, n-Wagen coaches and DB BR 363.













Train Sim World 6 also gave an small update to NEC New York – Stamford route that is currently in development. At the moment, the developers are working on the environment and track laying for the route, so stay tuned over the next few months as images are revealed.
As we reported earlier this week, High Iron Simulations is approaching the final release of the Santa Fe Pack, which is set to release on November 13, 3035. After that, the team will be working on two new projects: Super Fleet” GP60M and GP60B. The GP60M will be included in BNSF “H2” and “H4” schemes, while the GP60B will wear BNSF’s “H1” livery.

Firefly Simulations will also join Train Sim World 6 as a brand new partner. The team is comprised of five people, but we will likely be expanding that in the future. While the exact content they’ll be developing hasn’t been made clear, they stated their love from everything from modding to full-scale 1 to 1 recreations of environments.
