Crystal Dynamics dusted off the cobwebs for the Tomb Raider series with its announcement earlier today, as they revealed that they’ll be remastering Tomb Raider IV – VI.

The modernized versions of the titles will be developed and published by Aspyr in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics, releasing on February 14, 2025 for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and the Epic Games Store). It is currently available to pre-order today for $29.99.

You can check out a full summary of each title and the announcement below:

  • IV – Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation (1999) – Lara Croft uncovers the lost tomb of the Egyptian God Set, unwittingly unleashing him and fulfilling an ancient prophecy—one that plunges mankind into darkness. Pursued at every turn by her arch-rival, the unscrupulous archaeologist Werner Von Croy, Lara embarks on a journey of discovery across Egypt, where she must overcome the most ingenious puzzles and infernal traps ever devised while facing terrifying evil from beyond the grave.
  • V – Tomb Raider: Chronicles (2000) – Following the events of The Last Revelation, Lara Croft is buried in an Egyptian tomb and presumed dead. At her memorial, those closest to her reminisce about secrets from her past. Travel back and experience Lara’s untold adventures, introducing new gameplay mechanics like stealth and tightrope balancing.
  • VI – Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness (2003) – Accused of murder, Lara becomes a fugitive on the run, uncovering a sinister conspiracy involving alchemical experiments and the search for ancient artifacts. It’s up to Lara to stop this unholy alliance from unleashing its incredible powers on the world.

The decision to remaster Tomb Raider IV – VI comes following the success of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, which released earlier this year for PC and consoles. Just like that remaster, the next three installments will be getting a slew of upgrades, including a photo mode, updated graphics, and a chose between smoother controls or the old tank movement system.

Lastly, there are a lot of quality of life changes coming for the trilogy’s modern port. Those improvements include new boss health bars and plenty of trophies and achievements that refer to the many iconic moments home to the series.

Aspyr was also responsible for that remaster, as well as ports for titles like Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, Star Wars: Republic Commando, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed to the Nintendo Switch
