Persona 5 The Phantom X

Today multiple developers shared interesting gaming news, about games bit and smaller.

Persona 5: The Phantom X Announced for Japan

Atlus announced that the mobile game Persona 5: The Phantom X, previously available only in China, will also be released in Japan. Pre-registration are already open with a beta incoming.

The free-to-play game will be available for PC via Steam, iOS, and Android. No word has been mentioned about a possible global release.

Heihachi Mishima Returns to Tekken 8 in October

Heihachi Mishima is coming back to Tekken 8 as a DLC character. We already knew that, but now we learn when, and precisely on October 4.

We also get a gameplay trailer. Tekken 8 is currently available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Rise of Rebellion Reveals First Trailer

Originally born as a solo project, the 3D action RPG Rise of Rebellion has now received its first trailer, showing off the fast action gameplay that has already impressed many.

The game is coming in 2025 under Kodansha’s umbrella for PC via Steam.

Level-5 Announces Holy Horror Mansion, Inazuma Eleven Re, and More

Level-5 has broadcasted its traditional “Vision” event ahead of Tokyo Game Show, announcing new games and providing news about those we already knew about.

We start with the reveal of Holy Horror Mansion, teased as LEVEL5’s largest-ever cross-media project and the successor to the Yo-Kai Watch concept. The story is described as follows while the genre is defined as “Ghost Craft RPG.”

“The young hero, who lives in a mansion atop the apartment building owned by his grandma, finds a camera in a locked room, encounters a ghost and gets caught up
in all kinds of turmoil!”

The next reveal is Inazuma Eleven Re, the remake for PS5, PS4, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch of the original game of the franchise.

Next, we learn that Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is finally releasing worldwide in June 2025. It’s coming for PS5, PS4, Switch, iOS, Android, and PC via Steam.

Speaking of games that are taking a long time, Decapolice will now be released in 2026 for PS5, PS4, Switch, and PC via Steam, following multiple delays.

Professor Layton and the New World of Steam is still coming in 2025 for Nintendo Switch, and we get a new trailer.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is coming in April 2025 for Nintendo Switch. Level-5 actually mentioned that other platforms are undecided.
