Virtual Girl @ World’s End by Osamu Nobusawa Announced

Today Bushiroad announced a brand new post-apocalyptic visual novel titled Virtual Girl @ World’s End, coming in 2025 for PC and Nintendo Switch.

Interestingly, the original story and character design are by Osamu Nobusawa, known for his work as art director and character designer of the popular idol franchise BanG Dream! Girls Band Party.

More information will be shared at the Bushiroad New Year Presentation 2025 on January 13, 2025, but for now, we get a story synopsis and a website introducing the characters.

Tokyo, 2055. The world is affected by war, depletion of resources, and declining population.
In this world overflowing with despair, girls perform via live-streaming. Today’s broadcast begins among colorful new outfits and hairstyles.

The girls are appraised, ranked, and left completely empty. Their eyes, looking upon the world, become clouded and black.

In this colorless, dark world, a girl awakens.

HELLO WORLD! This is Vstar’s “Eye”!

The girl sings for the sake of creating smiles all over the world. She will keep singing, even in the blackest darkness, until the day the world ends.

Compared to BanG Dream! it’s certainly quite the change in mood.
