Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Gets First Major Patch
Bethesda and MachineGames released Update 1 for the highly-praised Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, including the addition of full ray tracing on supported Nvidia cards. You’ll need at least 12 Gigabytes of video RAM to be able to use the feature.
On top of that, the patch is mostly a long list of fixes. Even the best things can still be improved.
If you’d like more details, you can read the full patch notes.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is currently available for PC and Xbox Series X|S, and it’ll come in spring 2025 for PS5.
Fortnite Reveals Competitive Counter-Strike-LIke “Ballistic” First-Person Mode
You can say many things about the developers of Fortnite, but not that they rest on laurels. They just announced a whole new game mode coming in early access on November 11.
The mode is named “Ballistics” and it’s a competitive 5v5 first-person mode that certainly resembles the classic Counter-Strike in its setup. While it’ll be an early access, it’ll immediately launch with ranked and unranked modes.
For the moment, only one map named “Skyline 10” will be available, albeit more will come in the future. If you were wondering, there’s no building.
The launch mode will also prove familiar, with one team attacking and one defending. The attackers will try to plant and detonate a bo… ahem… Rift Point Device, while the defenders will try to prevent that.
There are no respawns and teams swap sides after 6 rounds. The goal is to win 7 rounds.
