The gaming industry has delivered more gaming news today, albeit things are a little slower after The Game Awards and their massive chain fire of reveals. We get more information and imagery of the upcoming Muv-Luv Strategy JRPG and release dates for a couple of interesting games

Here at Simulation Daily, we publish roundups with more gaming news that couldn’t be covered in individual articles, to keep you up to date with the work and games from a wider variety of developers than we otherwise could.

Before we get into the news here are handy links to gaming news that did get its own separate coverage.

Now, let’s get to the news. Incidentally, if you’re interested in gaming news specifically about flight simulation, we have a dedicated roundup.

Muv-Luv Tactics: Nightmare of Kalidasa Reveals More Protagonist Images and New TSF Mecha

The developers of the crowdfunded Muv-Luv strategy JRPG Muv-Luv Tactics: Nightmare of Kalidasa have revealed more images and info following the reveal of the protagonist and the first story details.

First of all, we get to see the protagonist Chisa Misato with a variation of her outfit (including an additional jacket) and her fortified suit. Interestingly, it’s a Type-77, the first fortified suit developed by Japan to be used with the Gekishin TSFs.

Speaking of TSFs, we get to see a brand-new one, the Type-95 Demonstration Experimental Model. It was developed by Fugaku Heavy Industry based on the Imperial Guard’s Type-82 Zuikaku to collect actual combat data with the perspective of deployment with the Navy.

Funnily, its official nickname at Fugaku Heavy Industry was “Umigarasu,” which means “Sea Crow” but since Chisa decided it didn’t sound cute (she hates things that aren’t cute, after all), she gave strict orders to call it “Umibato,” which means “Sea Dove.”

The game is currently being crowdfunded on Campfire with 31% of 60 million yen currently pledged and 13 days to go. If you want to contribute, you can do so on the campaign’s official page.

China Hero Project Game AI Limit Gets Release Date

Sense Games announced the release date of AI Limit, which you may know as a game created under the umbrella of Sony’s China Hero Project.

The game will be released for PC and PS5 on March 27, 2025. It was initially supposed to come in 2024, but seeing the enthusiastic response from many, the developers decided to give it some more time in the oven to stick the landing. Above you can also check out a new gameplay trailer.
