Alan Wake 2 Reflections

Today developers and publishers shared plenty of gaming news, including a look at Alan Wake 2 on PS5 Pro, another character coming for Bleach Rebirth of Souls, and open beta news for Delta Force.

Delta Force Reveals Global Open Beta

The Global Open Beta on PC for the shooter Delta Force is coming on December 5, 2024. It’ll come with the launch of the first season which will include the following.

It’ll also come with “new weapons, vehicles, appearances, UI, mechanics, servers, languages and more.”

The developers have also published a brief Q&A about the beta.

Q1: When does the Global Open Beta launch?
A1: The Global Open Beta will launch on December 5th, 2024.

Q2: Is Early Access still happening?
A2: Our Open Beta version will replace Early Access, and will feature full live service content updates with no more progress resets.

Q3: Is the Global Open Beta a test version?
A3: No, the Global Open Beta is a long-term, stable live service version with continuous content updates.

Q4: Will there be paid content in the Global Open Beta?
A4: Yes, there will be paid content available for purchase in the Global Open Beta, primarily Battle Passes, weapon appearances, and vehicle appearances. However, there will be no pay-to-win elements.

Q5: What languages will be available in the Global Open Beta?
A5: The Global Open Beta will offer support for English, French, German, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, Korean, and Arabic.

Q6: What’s new in the Global Open Beta compared with the Next Fest version?
A6: Expect a ton of new content like maps, modes, Operators, weapons, and vehicles along with major improvements to gameplay, including better performance, bug fixes, and a stronger anti-cheat system.

Q7: Does the Global Open Beta support controllers?
A7: Controller support is currently not available in the Global Open Beta, but it’s under development and will be added soon.

Q8: When will the game be available on consoles and mobile?
A8: Console and mobile versions are planned for a Q1 2025 release.

Q9: On what platforms will the Global Open Beta be available?
A9: The Global Open Beta will be available on our official launcher, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Pre-registration is now open on all platforms.

Bleach Rebirth of Souls Finally Introduces Renji Abarai 

Bandai Namco has been introducing the playable characters of Bleach Rebirth of Souls, and many have been wondering where Renji was.

Apparently, he was just late, and today we get to see him in action in his own dedicated trailer.

The game is coming in early 2025 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Remedy Shows Alan Wake 2 Running on PS5 Pro

Remedy Entertainment is going to support the new PS5 Pro extensively in Alan Wake 2, and today they provided a look at what the game looks like on the new console.

There will be two modes, Performance and Quality Mode.

Quality Mode includes Ray Tracing, and below you can read what it offers.

Performance Mode offers approximately the same detail as Quality Mode on PS5, but with 60 FPS. Here’s what it offers.
