TL-3000 Sirius Ultralight for Microsoft Flight Simulator Enters Beta

FSReborn announced that its TL-3000 Sirius Ultralight has entered the beta phase. We also hear that the aircraft features sounds recorded from a real specimen and the emergency parachute works.

For now, a release date has not been announced.

North Weald Airfield Announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Burning Blue Design announced that it’s working on another small airport from the UK, North Weald Airfield (EGSX). No further details were provided but we get a few screenshots.

Sibu Airport Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator

The Secret Studio released Sibu Airport (WBGS) in Malaysia.

It’s available on Simmarket for $16.19 and it includes the following features.

  • High quality custom buildings with PBR texturing.
  • Our in house developed Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS).
  • Custom animated jetways.
  • Custom, correctly aligned ILS.
  • Extensive terraforming of the airfield and surrounding area.
  • Highly detailed and accurate Passenger Terminal.
  • Custom AI driven ground vehicles: MAHB Isuzu Dmax
  • Custom aerial imagery.

La Rochelle – Île de Ré Airport Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator

France VFR released another airport in France (duh), La Rochelle – Île de Ré Airport (LFBH). It’s available on Orbx Direct for $9.01.

It includes the following features.

  • High resolution ground textures reworked aerial images from IGN.
  • Detailed ground markings.
  • Photo-realistic 3D buildings specific.
  • Numerous animations (helicopters, parachutists, birds, characters…)
  • Vegetation reworked on the platform and its surroundings.
  • Realistic night lighting reworked.
  • Runways profiles (slopes) reworked.
  • Compatible with our VFR FRANCE product range.
  • Geo-referenced data for maximum compatibility with future add-ons installed on the same area.
  • Development process 100% SDK (System Developement Kit) specifications compliant, ensuring maximum compatibility with new releases.
  • SIA – VAC – IAC – APT – ARRDEP charts provided.

Boeing 777-200ER for X-Plane Released in Beta

Today FlightFactor released the beta of its new Boeing 777-200 ER For X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 12.

While it’s a beta, you still have to purchase it to get access, basically making it an early access release. It can be purchased on Xplane.org for a discounted price of $89.00 (it’ll be $99 after the beta). At the same site, you can read the extensive feature list.

Arctic Thunder: Valhalla Campaign Announced for DCS World

Baltic Dragon announces a new campaign for DCS World, titled Artic Thunder – Valhalla. It’s set on Orbx’s Kola Map and created in collaboration with Reflected Simulations.

The campaign will feature two different branches with some missions in common showing different perspectives. One will focus on the Finnish Air Force F/A-18 Hornet and the other on the USAF F-16 Viper.
