Flight Simulation developers continue to provide daily news about new add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator, including both aircraft and scenery.

Republic F-84F Thunderstreak Announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Sim Skunk Works announced that it will natively develop the Republic F-84F Thunderstreak for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

The developer will also focus on porting its products over to the new simulator starting with the SIAI-Marchetti SF.260.

Airvan and B-52 for Microsoft Flight Siulator Get New Screenshots

We get an update about the GippsAero GA8 Airvan from Simworks Studios mentioning that while sound work is a bit behind schedule, visual wear has been implemented and the developer is experimenting with failure.

The propeller can be bent after a prop strike and tires can be blown. A progressive wear and tear system that will cause aircraft failures or degradation is being worked on. The intent is also to port it over to the Kodiak.

We also get to see the seats of the B-52 Stratofortress albeit the developer is still working on optimizing the textures.

Los Angeles Airport v2 for X-Plane ANnounced

ShortFinal Design announced that it’ll soon release version 2 of its Los Angeles Airport (KLAX) for X-Plane 11 and 12. All existing customers of version 1 will be entitled to a free upgrade.

Riyadh City Landmarks Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Tuwaiq Designs released a landmark package for Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia.

It includes the following landmarks and it’s available on Simmarket for $14.49.

Rex Atmos Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator

REX Simulations announced the release of its REX Atmos weather package, available on its own store for $14.50.

Here’s how the developer officially describes it, while you can find a few comparison screenshots above,.
