Avro RJ for Microsoft Flight Simulator Showcased in New Screenshots

Just Flight released an extensive gallery of new screenshots of the upcoming Avro RJ.

The updated version of the beloved “mini-Jumbo” BAE 146 is currently being tested, and the developer promised more updates and videos down the line.

P-47 Thunderbolt Getting Brand-New Sounds

Aeroplane Heaven announced that its P-47 Thunderbolt is getting a major update with completely reworked sound by Echo 19 Audio Production, which recorded a real specimen of the famous vintage fighter.

Considering the size of that engine, that’s probably a good move. Those who purchased the aircraft directly from the developer should have already received the update notice, while other stores will update the aircraft according to their own schedules.

PMDG Asks Your Opinion on the Boeing 777

PMDG launched a survey asking for the opinion of those who purchased the popular Boeing 777-300ER.

There are two versions of the survey, one for PC users and one for Xbox users. According to the developer, the poll will help shape its products in the future.

FlightSimExpo 2025 Travel Details Shared

The organizers of FlightSimExpo released some travel details to help those who would like to attend the 2025 edition next year. The event will be hosted between June 27 and 29, 2025, at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, RI, United States.

Providence is accessible via Providence Airport (KPVD) and attendees are encouraged to stay at the 4-star  Omni Providence Hotel, connected directly to the Rhode Island Convention Center. The rate for attendees will be $199/night plus taxes, with no resort fee.

Discounted rates are also available at other nearby hotels including Marriott and Hilton. Travel discounts are also provided on Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and codeshare partners like Air Canada and WestJet. You can find all the details and relevant links on the official website.

Attendee registration will open on December 14. Flight Simulation Association Captains will be able to take advantage of a discounted fee of $50 for all three days of the expo.
