Avro RJ QT Freighter Announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator
Just Flight announced that the QT Freighter variant for the Avro RJ is coming for both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, as an update for existing owners
It’s currently in development alongside the fully native version for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 with four liveries: prototype, FedEx, DHL, and TNT.
It’s worth mentioning that the QT (Quiet Trader) was a version proposed in 2016, but it never actually entered service, so it’s a bit of a “what if.”
Boeing 707 for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Renders
Aerial Simulations revealed the first renders of the flight deck of its Boeing 707-320C for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The developer announced on Discord that it laser scanned a real cockpit of the late configuration that was installed in production Boeing 707s. That being said, the iconic version with the fire handles mounted on the glareshield is also planned.
System integration will soon begin, but the developer expects the aircraft to be completed after the end of 2025.
Payloads for Default Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 FA-18E Super Hornet Announced
Aerial Simulations also revealed another interesting product, a set of payloads to add to the default 2024 FA-18E Super Hornet. These will include working drop tanks that can carry fuel and more. It’ll even have a handy notepad for configuration.
Papua New Guinea Highland Bush Strips Pack 4 Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
Orbx released the fourth installment of the Papua New Guinea Highland Bush Strips series by indie developer Ken Hall.
It’s available on Orbx Direct for $12.36 including the following challenging airstrips.

Azrsim revealed on Discord new screenshots of King Abdulaziz International Airport (OEJN) serving Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
This time around we get to see the 3D model of the iconic ATC tower.
Zwickau Airport Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
Skyprince Scenery Design released Zwickau Airport (EDBI) in Germany for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
It’s available on Simmarket for $12.7 with the following features.
- Airfield Aero-Club Zwickau with self modeled buildings & objects
- “lite version” of the Christoph 46 helicopter base
- realistic night lighing
- plausibly placed objects and animated vehicles
- nearby surroundings designed for example roads, signage, electricity pylons, bus stop, Kress fashion center
