Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Gets Release Date and Details

Blackbird Simulations announced that its Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero World War II fighter for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will release on July 10, 2025.

  • Accurate flight and engine systems, with true-to-life fuel and electrical modeling
  • Performance tuned to match historical references and published documents
  • Custom wear and failure simulation that responds to engine mismanagement
  • Custom start simulation to replicate the hand-cranked inertia starter
  • Authentic replication of controls and instrumentation unique to the aircraft
  • Extremely high detail 3D model with crisp, high-resolution textures
  • Ten high resolution liveries with an authentic representation of wear and use
  • Dynamic sound simulation that brings immersion and life to every aspect of the aircraft
  • Dynamic custom visual effects for engine smoke and exhaust
  • Custom drag calculations for external components that affect overall airspeed
  • Custom canopy effects that respond to aircraft motion
  • Custom belly-landing effects including propeller damage and custom physics

Cessna Citation X for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020 Slightly Delayed

FlightFX announced on its Discord server that it has delayed the release of its Cessna 750 Citation X business jet.

It was supposed to launch on Thursday, July 10 for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020 on the official marketplace, but it’ll instead release on July 22, 2025.

We already know that it’ll be priced at $29.99.

Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Screenshots

AUScene released new screenshots of its Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport (YBWW) in Australia.

While a release date for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020 has not yet been announced, we hear that the airport is reaching the final stages of development.

Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020

Taimodels released Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (CYQB) in Canada for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020. It’s currently available for $20.04 on iniBuilds’ store. An X-Plane version is coming soon as well.

It includes the following features.

  • Hand made and detailed PBR ground markings and textures according to the most recent airport situation
  • Hand made, realistic terminals, cargo buildings, and airport buildings using MSFS PBR materials
  • Realistic airport lighting
