Flight Simulation developers shared news today, including another look at the Beechcraft Starship for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020, on top of a few releases, also for X-Plane.

Beechcraft Starship for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets Retro-Style Trailer

Just Flight released a new trailer about the upcoming Beechcraft Starship by Black Square, focusing on its retro style.

We already know that the aircraft will release for both MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020 on June 19.

Dassault Alpha Jet Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020; Coming Later for Xbox nd MSFS 2024

Microsoft Flight Simulator Dassault Alpha Jet

Today Virga Studios released an officially licensed rendition of the Dassault Alpha Jet light attack aircraft and trainer. It’s available for MSFS 2020 on Simmarket, priced at approximately $41.

The aircraft will also be released for Xbox shortly, followed by a release for MSFS 2024. It comes with the following features:

  • Optimised 3D model (based on interior and exterior 3D scans)
  • Fully modelled front and rear cockpit
  • Support for AI co-pilot and integrated checklists
  • Ready for a multiplayer instructor/student experience
  • 5 liveries including the 9 aircraft of the Patrouille de France
  • More to come with free updates
  • High G factor wingflex
  • Avionics adapted and pushed to be accurate and realistic
  • All interior/exterior sounds recorded on real Alphajet and integrated
  • All cockpit elements animated and functional
  • Animations and behaviour of key Alphajet elements using dedicated code
  • 100% accurate fuel system in terms of weight and balance
  • Possibility of adding extra external fuel tanks
  • Three-colour smoke pod system
  • Realistic protection and chocks applied to the aircraft
  • Faithful VOR/ILS and TACAN system
  • Authentic engine start-up procedures
  • The LARZAC-4C6 turbofan engine is carefully modelled to ensure optimum performance at all flight levels
  • Tablet EFB to manage different aircraft modes, frequency presets, fuel and aircraft configuration
  • GNS 530 units for GPS navigation
  • Complete interactive checklists carried out by the co-pilot or as an accompaniment
  • Flight manual available online on our Discord

  • Optimum aerobatic performance, constantly improving

Adisutjipto Airport Released for MSFS 2020

Adisutjipto International Airport (WAHH), which serves the Yogyakarta area on the island of Java, Indonesia, has been released for MSFS 2020 by BDOAviation.

It’s available on Simmarket for $15.53 with the following features.

  • All major airport buildings with high resolution textures.
  • High detail photoscenery
  • Detailed taxiways and runways, Custom made lines, taxiway, marking and taxi lights.
  • Custom ground texture from satellite photos
  • PBR texture

Homer Airport Released for X-Plane 12

Realworldscenery released Homer Airport (PAHO) in Alaska for X-Plane 12. It’s available on Simmarket for $18.34.

It includes the following features (sic).

  • Absolutely guaranteed smooth performance 
  • All buildings custom built 
  • Custom made textures specific for each building
  • Fully modeled terminal 
  • FBO office modeled using actual photos
  • detailed ground markings
