Western Sydney Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Gets New Screenshots

We stay in Australia with Drzewiecki Design and its work-in-progress Western Sydney International Airport (YSWS) in Australia. As usual, we get to see new screenshots and read a development update.

“Progress this week brings even more realism to WSI, both on the ground and behind the scenes!

The brand new fire station is finished, and the work around the terminal continues with full focus on detailing and layout. In the airside zones, we’ve added custom apron floodlights, camera masts, and stand coordinate signs — all those subtle but important features that make an airport feel truly alive.

The parking areas and terminal frontage are getting populated with more elements and fine detailing every day. Meanwhile, the metro train model is now in development, ready to connect the airport to the city just like in real life.

Behind the scenes, we expanded our custom CGL imagery to include the new airport highway and metro tracks. Plus, we’ve received a commercial drone footage to reshape the immediate area around the terminal for even better terrain accuracy.”
