Flight Simulation developers shared news today, including a look at an upcoming aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, MSFS 2020, on top of a free airport release.

Cessna Citation Sovereign+ for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and MSFS 2024 Gets New Screenshots
Skyward Simulations shared another gallery of screenshots of its upcoming Cessna Citation 680 Sovereign+ on its Discord Server.
We get to see the cabin, the flight deck, and an interesting configuration of the exterior, which belonged to an experimental plane used by Cessna itself.
İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator “Getting Closer”
We get a small look at a model created by MM Simulations for İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport (LTBJ) in Turkey, with the mention that it’s “getting closer.”
Aiken Regional Airport Released for Free for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020
Cat3Dual released another of its free airports in the United States, and it’s Aiken Regional Airport (KAIK) in South Carolina.
It’s available for both MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020 on Flightsim.to for the affordable price of zero dollars, which is hard to go wrong with.
Here’s what you can expect from the package.
- Custom FBO building on the main ramp, and T-hangar at the north end of main ramp
- Custom airport props including glideslope antenna, airport rotating beacon, AWOS equipment, SC airport welcome sign, Aiken Airport welcome sign
- Pavement and ground marking aligned to FS20 and FS24 imagery, airport layout accurate to March 2025
- Correctly placed airport lighting (ODALS available to runway 25)
- Fuel station at the northeast corner of main ramp
- Airport taxiway/runway signs
- Perimeter fence
