Flight Simulation developers shared news today, including a look at upcoming airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020. alongside an aircraft debuting in the former.

Western Sydney Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Gets New Screenshots
Drzewiecki Design revealed new screenshots of its Western Sydney International Airport (YSWS) in Australia.
The developer also provided a development update describing the latest additions to the project.
“We’ve been focused on refining the apron and taxiway layout, including freshly drawn lines on the cargo apron, stand markings, fuel inlets, and central lighting systems. Even the approach lights for runway 05 are now in place, modeled and positioned with care.
On the infrastructure side, both metro stations are now complete and integrated with the terrain, including updated overpasses and seamless transitions. We also added more technical buildings, a control tower mast with cameras, and high-voltage pylons to bring the airport’s surrounding area to life.
The terminal interior got a big upgrade too — we’ve added decorative ceilings and started texturing, while detailed work continues on gate connections and terrain shaping.
And behind the scenes, a new approach lighting system model and the first pieces of the fire station are in the works. As always, every detail is handcrafted to push the realism just a bit further!”

Fly2High announced that version v2 of Fresno Yosemite International Airport (KFAT) in the United States is almost complete and will be released in the next few days.
B-2 Spirit Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
KwikFlight released the B-2 Spirit for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The aircraft was already available for MSFS 2020 and a free upgrade will be provided to existing customers. The aircraft is available on Simmarket for $29.06

- PRFM (Performance): Automatically calculated V speeds based on current weight and weather
- FPLN (Flight Plan): When a flight plan is loaded from the world map, it automatically loads in the FMS with a “direct to” function available.
