V2 Update and MSFS 2024 Compatibility for CRJ by Aerosoft Delayed to Next Week

The highly anticipated update of the CRJ family by Aerosoft, which includes compatibility with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has been delayed.

It was supposed to release today, but the developer announced on its Discord server that it’ll actually come on May 1.

“We would like to inform you that the CRJ v2 update has been delayed by one week. The new release date is April 1st. This is to ensure the best possible quality and that the update ships with as few issues as possible, including some you may have seen in the preview streams/videos this weekend.

We know you all have been waiting for a long time for this update, but we would rather release a few days later than publish the update in an incomplete state. Thank you for your patience and understanding!”

Cessna 185F Skywagon Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

Following the free release for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, the Cessna 185F Skywagon by Carenado has been released on the official marketplace of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.,

It’s priced at $14.99. It’s worth mentioning that it’s not free for MSFS 2020 as the free MSFS 2024 release has been decided to make up for the new sim’s turbulent launch. Of course, Microsoft doesn’t owe an apology to MSFS 2020 users, so they have to pay if they want the aircraft.

The exception to the above is users who own both sims, who get the aircraft on MSFS 2024 and also MSFS 2020.
