Riyadh King Khalid International Airport Getting v3 for Microsoft Flight Simulator, Baghdad Teased

Following yesterday’s release of Basra Airport, Azrsim announced its next plans on Discord, mentioning that next on the menu is the “definitive” version of the developer’s King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh (OERK), the capital of Saudi Arabia.

This will be v3 and it’ll be “a major update, focusing on better quality.” Not only it’ll fix a stuttering issue with V2, but it’ll add the following pon top of “many more.”

  • Metro station
  • Remodeling of the “Triplet” Hangar
  • Newly build Private Aviation
  • Remodeled terminal Interiors making it alive with 3D characters, and HD floors, etc.
  • Groundwork enhancement
  • Custom SNB Jetways
  • Billboards reflecting the Riyadh Airport area

The developer also teased what’ll come after, and it’ll be “the capital of Babylon” which can only be Baghdad International Airport (ORBI).

Belle Ile En Mer Airport Released for Free for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

MaxGG60 released a freeware rendition of Belle Ile En Mer Airport (LFEA) in France for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, including a really spiffy lineup of surrounding landmarks.

It can be downloaded from Flightsim.to for the affordable price of zero dollars, including the following.

  • LFEA Belle Ile en Mer aerodrome;
  • Le Palais with its citadel and harbor;
  • Yves Lanco Hospital;
  • Le Gouphar lighthouse;
  • Sauzon harbour;
  • Pointe des Poulains lighthouse;
  • Kerdonis lighthouse.

Kola Map for DCS World Updated With New Airfields and More

Orbx released a major update of its Kola Map for DCS World, including the following features and changes.

  • Bardufoss (ENDU) & Kittila (EFKT) Airfields
  • New towns added for more regional detail
  • Improved low-level terrain visuals
  • Performance optimizations
  • TACAN placed at Andoya for navigation

The map can be purchased on the developer’s store for $55.97. 

Iloilo International Airport Announced for X-Plane

X-Plane Iloilo Airport

Airwil Sceneries announced another airport in the Philippines for X-Plane 12, and it’s Iloilo International Airport (RPVI)

While we don’t have a release date, it’s coming soon, and above you can see a screenshot.
