Flight Simulation developers shared news today, including aircraft and airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020.

PMDG Boeing 737-800 BDSF for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Screenshots
PMDG beta tester René Moelaert posted some juicy screenshots of the upcoming Boeing 737-800 BDSF converted freighter.
We get a look at the cargo door and even the functional cargo panel.
Eurofighter Typhoon for MSFS Finally in “Short Final”
Indiafoxtecho provided a development update about the Eurofighter Typhoon alongside new screenshots, mentioning that it’s finally in “short final.”
All the systems besides the drag chute and the mission systems are complete.
As soon as the drag chute is complete, the developer will provide a release candidate to its testers and, if there are no major bugs, will move on with the release.
Salt Lake City International Airport v2 for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Screenshots
Pacific Island Simulations revealed new screenshots of v2 of Salt Lake City International Airport (KSLC), which should come before the end of January 2026 for both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024.
Here’s a list of what has been done.
- completed the B Concourse East and central nodes missing in v1
- added all gates at B Concourse East from 21-48 now fully open/operational
- rigged all animated jetway systems with numbers on rotundas and attached to all gates per current airport charts
- added taxiways where changed or new.
- added GSE breezeways under B Concourse, road markings
- added aircraft parking lines/stop lines and and ground gate numbers
- added internal and external lighting
- built from scratch brand new set of static people posers and added them to the terminals/concourses to “liven up” the airport interior ambience.
The developer also said that it added the dinosaur replica at the B Concourse central node and is working on havinga wide variety of human models.
The following remains to be done.
- add/rearrange proper airline gate assignments in XML script for KSLCv2 AI parking
- add VDGS to all remaining new gates
- add new tunnel between B Concourse and the DAL hangar north side.
- remove old ground taxiway blue signs and replace with yellow triangle ones
- add 2 new hangars to GA area
- add RON parking in new areas B Concourse north side
- add vehicle overhead road bridges at main south side parking area
- add Olympic structure/sign and Gateway sculpture (The Peaks) at airport entrance.
- etc
In the meanwhile, we also hear that Albuquerque International Sunport (KABQ)’s main terminal is complete, and the developer will bebe moving on to hangars, Kirtland Air Force Base, and freight areas in the latter part of January 2026.
