BeyondATC Provides Update on VFR Plans
The developers of BeyondATC published a video providing an update on their plans to implement VFR ATC in the popular utility.
After months of work in optimizing BeyondATC and fixing issues to make it more stable and enjoyable, they’re now ready to add new features again.
VFR will be implemented in three subsequent stages. The first will include clearance requests, the ability to enter and exit circuits, full stops, and touch-and-go.
The second will focus on airspace classes, airspace rules, and the ability to communicate entrance and exit from an airspace. The third will bring things together with the goal of letting users perform full VFR flights.
The developers will initially focus on the VFR rules of the US, the UK, and Australia, gradually adding more regions. No dates were provided for the updates, at the moment.
