SamScene3D Announces Several Scenery Add-Ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS
SamScene3D has several add-ons in the works for both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and the original Microsoft Flight Simulator.
We learn from the developer’s Discord server that Bogotá City Landmarks, which was recently teased, will launch next week, while three more packages are in the works, two in China and one in Japan, as follows.
- Harbin Airport and City
- Hangzhou Airport and City
- Japan Hiroshima city
The following existing add-ons will also get significant upgrades for MSFS 2024, including new textures, models, and additional features.
- Hong Kong City Times (undergoing)
- New York City Times (undergoing)
- Seoul City Wow (undergoing)
- Gimhae International Airport (planned)
- USA Modern Cities Vol.1 (undergoing)
- China Wuhan city with Airport (planned)
- Chongqing Magic City with airport (planned)
- Tokyo City Landmarks (planned)
The developer mentions that nearly all of its MSFS2020 scenery will work smoothly in MSFS2024, but a few need extra adjustments. Some updates will come at no extra cost, while others will involve a small upgrade fee depending on the amount of work involved.
Volanta Plugin Update Gets it Fully Ready for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
Orbx launched the stable release of Volanta’s plugins (as announced on the service’s Discord server) including support for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, alongside Arm support for X-Plane.
Here’s the full list of what is included.
- Full MSFS24 and P3Dv6 compatibility.
- Native ARM plugins for X-Plane on macOS.
- Reporting cockpit indicated altitude in all statistics.

Sanikiluaq Airport Released for Free for Microsoft Flight Simulator
Sanikiluaq Airport (CYSK) has been released for free by MulberryWing.
This extreme northern airport in the Nunavut territory of Canada is certainly an interesting location to visit, and this scenery restores it to its nature as a small gravel runway with minimal infrastructure. It’s available on Flightsim.to for free.
