Flight Simulation developers released two new airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator today, while a relevant classic airliner has been confirmed. Speaking of airliners, we get to see an upcoming one for X-Plane as well.

Boeing 747-100 Confirmed by PMDG for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Following the update from a couple of days ago, PMDG CEO Robert Randazzo confirmed that the aircraft he has been teasing for a few weeks is indeed a classic Boeing 747-100. Further details have not been announced at the moment of this writing.

Airbus A330-900 for X-Plane Gets New Screenshots Ahead of Release Date

Toliss showcased its Airbus A330-900 in final approach for X-Plane. The developer mentioned that the beta is well underway and there have been no major blockers, so the aircraft is on track for its announced release date on October 19, 2024.

North Weald Airfield Is In Beta Testing for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Burning Blue Design announced that its North Weald Airfield (EGSX) in the UK is now in beta testing and is on track to release “soon,” also showcasing a few images.

Nemuro Nakashibetsu Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Screenshots

 Gate15 Scenery released a couple more screenshots of its Nemuro Nakashibetsu Airport (RJCN) in Hokkaido, Japan.

The developer is working on some smaller decorative objects, and will showcase the terminal when all the decorations are complete.

Mudanjiang Hailang Airport Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator

HALUA6683 released Mudanjiang Hailang Airport (ZYMD) in China, also including scenery of the city. It’s available on Simmarket for €6.59 for a week before it goes up to 10.99.

It comes with the following features.

  • A complete terminal model based on real shots, almost identical to reality.
  • There are a large number of Chinese logos and fonts inside and outside the airport.
  • Fully customized runway centerline lights, runway edge lights, taxiway lights, and airport imported lights, as well as dynamic light sources.
  • And its fine ground scribing, PBR ground texture.
  • Hand-modeled Mudanjiang city landscape and restored the red anti-collision lights on many high-rise buildings.
  • All models in the airport have a surface number of less than 15w, and most models use LOD technology, which is friendly to frame numbers.
  • This airport is an open airport. You can find charts online and use simbrief to make flight plans.

This is HALUA6683’s finest payware airport, but they are well known in the freeware scene, with several airports released on Flightsim.to.

N’djili Airport Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Fsxcenery released N’djili Airport (FZAA), serving the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Kinshasa. It’s available on Simmarket for $15.33.
