Simulation Daily publishes a roundup every day for all the news across the flight simulation field, helping you keep up to date with the ins and outs of the industry.

Today, we also published our “This Week in Flight Simulation News” video recapping last week’s major news, so make sure to watch it to catch up.

Without further ado, you can check out the news below.

Beechcraft Premier IA Announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

Microsoft Flight Simulator Beechcraft Premier IA

Carenado announced the B390 IA for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. If the trademark-free name doesn’t ring a bell, this is actually a Beechcraft Premier IA business Jet, but the developer obviously doesn’t have the license to use the name.

Usually, Carenado doesn’t wait long after the MSFS 2024 release of its aircraft to release an MSFS 2020 version, although nothing has been promised regarding this aircraft.

Alberto Lleras Camargo Airport Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

Simdesignsco released Alberto Lleras Camargo Airport (SKSO) serving Sogamoso, Colombia for MSFS 2024. It’s available on Simmarket for $11.08. Those who already have the MSFS 2020 version are entitled to a free upgrade.

It includes the following features (sic):

  • High quality 3D internal representation of the air terminal
  • External Representation of the Air Terminal
  • High resolution custom textures.
  • Detailed platform markings
  • Airport objects
  • Update according to Aerocivil Letter
  • Excellent environment and contour to the airport.
  • Tested and highly optimized scenario in frames.

Remade Minami-Daito and Kita-Daito Airports for MSFS Won’t Have Terminal Interiors

Gate15 Scenery announced that its remade Minami-Daito Airport (ROMD) and Kitadaito Airport (RORK) in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, won’t have terminal interiors.

On the other hand, the developer vows to “focus on making the exterior as realistic as possible.”

We also get new screenshots of the work-in-progress model for Minami-Daito.

CaptainSim Teases… something for MSFS

CaptainSim has teased some sort of UFO from “beyond this universe” for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

I’m not exactly sure that’s what the sim needs, but I suppose some people may enjoy this.

If you’d like to read more flight simulation news, you can find plenty in our previous roundup article from yesterday.

If you want to go further back, we have a handy overview video of the major flight simulation news in the past week. You can watch it below. As usual, leaving a like and a comment and subscribing to our growing YouTube channel is extremely helpful.
