Atlanta International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator “On Track for Christmas”

Microsoft Flight Simulator Atlanta Airport

Matteo Veneziani, developer of Orbx’s upcoming Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (KATL) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020, provided a brief update on the airport’s release window.

He mentioned that it’s “On track for Christmas, or in the worst case, not after winter months.”

Veneziani expects all the buildings to be completed by the end of October, with November and December dedicated to “finishing groundpoly and polishing everything before release.”

2026 Version of Singapore Changi Airport for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020 Entering Initial Testing

Imaginesim shared a new screenshot of what it calls “Singapore 2026,” an updated version of its Singapore Changi Airport (WSSS) for MSFS 2020.

It appears to be updated to the latest layout, and it’ll come for both MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020.

Newark Liberty International Airport for X-Plane 12 Gets New Screenshots and Dev Update

Drzewiecki Design released more screenshots of its upcoming Newark Liberty International Airport (KEWR) for X-Plane 12.

We also get a development update with the latest progress made on the airport, which should be completed by the end of October and may be offered in two versions.

“It’s been a busy month at KEWR Newark (X-Plane 12), and we’re now entering the final stage of development. Only the AirTrain system and a few minor elements remain before we move fully into testing.

Testing will continue through the coming weeks, with completion targeted for the end of October. Everything so far points to that schedule remaining on track.

Two versions of the scenery will probably be available at release:
– a full-detail build, featuring modeled interiors, transparent glass, and detailed night lighting,
– and a high-performance version designed for smoother operation on low-end systems.

Performance results are looking excellent, and the interiors are shaping up beautifully. If all goes as planned, KEWR will be ready for the release in November.”
