Freeware Airbus A380 for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets Massive Development Update

Hosted by YouTube user The Blu-XPerience FlyByWire provided a massive development update for the upcoming freeware Airbus A380. We get to see the aircraft in action alongside many of its systems while hearing directly from the developers.

While it certainly doesn’t seem too far off from ready at first sight, there is still work to do, so a release date has not been announced just yet.

MK Studios Teases Lisbon Airport V2 for Microsoft Flight Simulator “Getting Closer.”

We start with MK Studios, which has started teasing the imminent release of Lisbon Airport (LPPT) V2. This is supposed to be a large update on then original scenery, which was released a long time ago.

The developer mentioned a countdown, which means that we’re likely just days away from the update’s release. We also get two screenshots, which you can enjoy above.

Boeing 737 MAX for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets Development Update

Flight One Software continues to keep us posted on the state of the Boeing 737 Max by iFly on its Discord Server. Here’s what’s going on directly from the lion’s mouth.

Given alot of people are asking for updates. There’s not a lot to say, work is still very much on going on the plane. The team is quiet because they’re knuckle deep in development.

We understand that you guys are looking forward to the aircraft & the team is very much looking forward to getting it into your hangars. Some of you might be wondering why isit taking so long. Simple answer is that ifly has a standard they like to meet. If they’re not happy with where it’s at. They won’t release it. It’s that simple.

We also understand that you guys have a set level of expectation when it comes to the aircraft & we want you to feel like that was met on release day when you’re flying her for the first time. As for a release date, it is still unknown but everyone is hands on deck to get it out to you ASAP. As for previews, videos etc. I’m sure more will come in time once the team has abit of breathing room to do so.

As a bonus, you can also check out a gallery of the Skywest liveries. These images are a little older (from September) but I missed them, so you get them today.

If you’d like to get into flight simulation but you’re perhaps a bit intimidated by its apparent complexity, you can read our introductory guide, alongside the second episode focusing on installing add-ons, and another showcasing the basic instruments.
