Katowice Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Screenshots and Development Update










Drzewiecki Design revealed more screenshots of the upcoming Katowice Airport (EPKT) in Poland.
The post also included the traditional brief development update from the developer.
“Another week of steady progress, with both large structures and small details pushing Katowice closer to completion.
Inside the terminal, ceilings have been modeled, signage and pictograms are now in place, and textures are being applied to walls and fittings. All check-in counters are finished, and the security control zone has been updated with custom desks and scanners. The front glass facade now carries its iconic lettering, giving the building a very recognizable look.
Air conditioning units and ventilation systems have been installed across Terminals B and C, while lighting and environmental wear were added to Terminal A, which has now been finalized and carefully aligned with the other structures, including the old control tower.
Beyond the terminals, a church landmark in Zdenek has been completed — an important VFR reporting point for local traffic — and LOD optimization has begun across major objects to ensure smooth performance without sacrificing detail.
And yes, an easter egg has quietly found its way into the scenery…”

Bengaluru Kempegowda International Airport Announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane

Taimodels announced Kempegowda International Airport (VOBL) serving Bengaluru in India. The announcement was accompanied by a trailer that you can watch on the developer’s Facebook account.
According to the video, it’ll be released on October 5 for Microsoft Flight Simulator on PC (albeit it says Monday in the post, which would be October 6), on October 20 for X-Plane, and on November 15 for the Xbox version of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
