Flight Simulation developers had plenty of news to share today about scenery and aircraft coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020, including a release.

On top of that, Microsoft itself had its own news to deliver.

Microsoft Releases New Feedback Snapshot and Announces Developer Livestream

Microsoft has released a new Feedback Snapshot with a whopping 4 slides of information on the bugs that are being addressed in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, alongside information on when they may be solved between Sim Update 1 and Sim Update 2.

On top of that, we hear that a new pre-release build with more fixes and improvements is coming soon. Last, but not least, the much-awaited developer livestream has been dated and will happen on February 5 on Twitch at 18:30 UTC. We’re likely to hear much more about the simulator’s future then, and you can expect a full report here on Simulation Daily.

Eurofighter Typhoon for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Screenshots

Indiafoxtecho revealed new screenshots for its Eurofighter Typhoon. Unfortunately, the developer did not manage to have an alpha build ready for testing by the end of this month, but they’re close and they’re prioritizing quality over speed.

Isla Grande Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets a Release Date and Details

PhotoRico Scenery announced that its Fernando Luis Ribas Dominicci Airport (also known as Isla Grande Airport, bearing the ICAO code TJIG) serving San Juan in Puerto Rico will be released on February 6, 2025.

The store page on Orbx Direct is already available spelling out the airport’s features.

Region of Waterloo International Airport Announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Astralis Studios announced its next release, and it’s Region of Waterloo International Airport (CYFK) in Canada.

It’ll release on February 6 and above you can check out both screenshots and a trailer.

Muan International Airport Gets New Screenshots

While the timing may be slightly questionable, Fly2High released the first in-sim look at Muan International Airport (RKJB) in South Korea.

It’s worth mentioning that the developer clarified that the airport has been ready for a while, but they have decided to wait following the crash of Jeju Air Flight 2216 a month ago.

University of Illinois Willard Airport Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator

UK2000 scenery returned to the United States with the University of Illinois Willard Airport (KCMI) in the United States. It’s available on Simmarket for $12.47.
