Today in Flight Simulation News – August 30 2026

Simulation Daily publishes a roundup every day for all the news across the flight simulation field, helping you keep up to date with the ins and outs of the industry.

Before we move on to the flight simulation news, make sure to check out today’s episode of our “Can You Guess this Airport?” video series.

Without further ado, I leave you with today’s flight simulation news.

Boeing 757 for MSFS Gets Tons of New Screenshots

Just Flight opened a product page for the Boeing 757 by BlueBird Simulations, including plenty of screenshots and the details below.

Of course, while the product page is open, the aircraft is not available for purchase just yet.

AIRFRAME AND SYSTEMS – ENGINEERED TO THE RIVET

Every panel, flex point and powerplant modelled from source data – not photographs.

Wing Flex and Aerodynamics
Real-time wing flex simulation driven by accurate aerodynamic load calculations. Watch the wings respond to turbulence, G-loads and fuel weight changes exactly as they do on the real aircraft.

Structural and Surface Detail
Physically-based rendering captures every rivet, dirt streak and paint imperfection. Dynamic lighting reveals the subtle curvature of the fuselage with stunning photorealism.

Engine Variants
Choose between the thundering Rolls-Royce RB211 and the refined Pratt & Whitney PW2000. Each engine is individually modelled with distinct performance characteristics, EGT profiles and sound signatures.

STEP ONTO THE FLIGHT DECK – SYSTEMS YOU CAN ACTUALLY OPERATE

Flight Management Computer
Built from the ground up. LNAV and VNAV follow authentic airliner lateral and vertical path logic. SimBrief integration loads your flight plan directly into the FMC with full route validation.

200 Working Circuit Breakers
Every breaker is mapped to its exact bus. Pull one and watch the precise cascade of systems lose power. Restore and see them illuminate in the exact troubleshooting sequence.

Authentic CRT Displays
High-refresh-rate CRT simulation with realistic phosphor glow, scan-line effects and dynamic brightness. Every display behaves exactly like the real equipment.

ULTRA-HIGH FIDELITY FROM NOSE TO TAIL – DEEP SYSTEMS SIMULATION, IMMERSIVE ACOUSTICS AND MULTIPLE LEGENDARY VARIANTS – ALL PART OF ONE AIRCRAFT

FMC & ARINC 424 Navigation
Custom LNAV/VNAV implementation adhering to ARINC 424 standards. Includes complex turn anticipation, altitude constraint management and authentic AFDS logic.

Bleed Air & Pneumatic Architecture
Fully thermodynamic ECS and pneumatic simulation. Accurate mass flow, multi-zone differential pressure management, and bleed air demand integrated with thrust.

Triple-Redundant Architecture
Complete simulation of Left, Right, and CentrE hydraulic systems interfacing with independent electrical buses. Features stand-alone RAT deployment and actuator degradation.

Avionics & Situational Awareness
Custom IRU alignment, detailed EICAS message logic and EGPWS terrain display.

Wwise 3D Audio Architecture
Multi-layered Wwise event-driven engine featuring fully spatialised, position-aware external and internal profiles. Simulates aerodynamic shear and cabin environmental variance.

Acoustic Propulsion Signatures
Bespoke frequency-mapped audio profiles for Rolls-Royce RB211 and Pratt & Whitney PW2000 powerplants. Captures exact N1/N2 spool characteristics, high-bypass hum and localised thrust reverser deployment.

The page also includes the detailed features list that we saw a few days ago.

El Edén International Airport Released for MSFS 2024
