Without further ado, I leave you with today’s flight simulation news.

Vienna International Airport Getting Full Reboot for MSFS 2024

Gaya Simulations announced that its update of Vienna International Airport (LOWW) is actually much more: it’ll be a full reboot of the airport for MSFS 2024, basically built from zero.

“LOWW Vienna Airport: Reboot is not an update, conversion, or remaster of our previous scenery. We are rebuilding the entire airport from zero, from the ground up, specifically for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

Every terminal, building, texture, material, and airport detail is being recreated using everything we have learned since the original release.

Expect exceptional detail and accuracy, a fully up-to-date airport environment, modern MSFS 2024 technology, and carefully optimized, super-smooth performance.”

Mobile International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator Releasing in a Few Days

Drzewiecki Design released new screenshots and a development update of Mobile International Airport (KBFM) in Alabama, United States, for MSFS.

As usual, we get a development update with the reveal that the aircraft will be ready for release in a few days.

“The terminal has been completed and is undergoing its final optimization and testing pass, including refined interiors, signage, advertisements, shop names, railings, lighting, collision setup, seasonal visibility, and additional LOD work. Animated passengers, baggage carousels, flight-information screens, terminal sounds, and jet bridges have also been tested and adjusted.

Across the airport, the team has been completing missing LODs, correcting terrain, adding final buildings and signs, refining ground details, and resolving smaller visual issues. New structures near the approach to Runway 18 have been integrated, while the ILS, airport layout, lighting, and scenery assets are being checked during the ongoing beta tests.

With the final corrections now being implemented, Mobile International Airport should be ready for publication within the next few days.”
