Flight Simulation developers shared news today, including aircraft and airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, MSFS 2020, and X-Plane12.

SimWorks Studios Announces Roadmap for Second Half of 2026

SimWorks Studios announced its roadmap for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 for the rest of 2026, and it’s quite rich.

Q3 2026 will see the Medevac Expansion and the Amphibian Edition for the Daher Kodiak 100, and the Pilatus PC-12 Legacy FS2024 Edition, while Q4 will bring the Kodiak 900 and the PC-12NG.

At the end, we also get the announcement of a De Havilland Canada DHC-8 100, 200, and 300, although with no release window.

Tokyo Haneda Airport for MSFS Gets New Screenshots

Technobrain released plenty of new screenshots of its upcoming Tokyo Haneda International Airport (RJTT) for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

We already know that the airport is set for release this summer, and Technobrain mentioned today that development is progressing smoothly toward it.

Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.5a Released for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020

CaptainSim released the World War I fighter Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.5a. It’s available on the official marketplace for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020 for $14.99.

It includes the following features.

Inverness Airport Released for X-Plane 12

Skybound Studios and Mango Studios released Inverness Airport (EGPE) V2 for X-Plane 12.

The airport is available on Simmarket for $15.99 plus VAT, including the following features.

  • X-Plane 12 Native Optimisation: Re-engineered to leverage native volumetric weather, real-time rain shaders, and dynamic seasonal ground textures.
  • High-Fidelity 3D Modelling: Fully custom, high-resolution airport buildings, hangars, and an updated main terminal layout.
    4K PBR Texturing: 
  • Ultra-detailed photorealistic ground surfaces with realistic dirt, wear, and runway grunge.
  • Detailed Landside Areas: Includes detailed 3D modelling for the landside areas & surrounding industrial estate.
  • Enhanced Regional Environment: Features dense 3D vegetation, hand-placed trees, and landside regional detail extending far past the airport boundary (including nearby houses, farms, and industrial parks).

Westchester County Airport Released for X-Plane 12

Fly2High released the X-Plane 12 version of its Westchester County Airport (KHPN), which was originally released a few weeks ago for MSFS.

It’s available on X-Plane.org for $15.99, including the following features.

  • All 4K custom ground textures throughout the entire airport
  • Fully modeled terminal, Million Air, Tower, and a couple hangar interiors
