The first scoop, shared during a livestream, is that the beloved visual novel To Heart is getting a remake, which will be released in 2025.

For the moment, not much information has been shared besides the fact that some characters will have new voices.

Akari will be voiced by Kana Ichinose (Ryne in Final Fantasy XIV and Suletta Mercury in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury), while Multi will be played by Hina Yomiya (Alice in Goddess of Victory: Nikke and Shinju Inui in My Dress-Up Darling).

That being said, for those who prefer the original voices, a dedicated option that preserves them will be available.

More information will be shared at the Aquaplus 30th Anniversary Festival between November 9 and November 10, 2024.

On the Utawarerumono front, we learn that the action RPG Utawarerumono: ZAN will receive a PC port in 2025. It’ll be published in the West by Shiravune and the Steam Page is already available.

It was originally released in 2018 only for PS4

If you’re unfamiliar with To Heart, like many popular visual novel franchises, it was originally released as an eroge in 1997 and then ported to consoles (PlayStation, PS2, and PSP) with the removal of the adult content and the addition of voice acting.

Its popularity was cemented by the airing of an anime TV series in 1999, followed by a sequel, To Heart: Remember My Memories, in 2004.

If you’re interested in legendary visual novels making a comeback, you can also read about the return of Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, which will soon come to Steam with an “Enhanced Edition,” officially translated into English for the first time.
