Today, Lunheim Studios released its idle fishing sim, Tiny Aquarium: Social Fishkeeping, on PC.
Tiny Aquarium is an idle game where players focus on keeping fish. Players can hatch new fish, sell fish, and go fishing as they relax. Of course, decorating the virtual tank is another highlight, and the tank itself can hang out on players’ desktops in Tiny Mode.
Going fishing includes a minigame, where players can fish either alone or with friends while checking out other aquariums. Players will also be able to upgrade their fishing rods as they go.
Of course, there’s a collection feature as well. Players will be able to learn about, discover, and raise different types of fish, both real and fantasy. Developers also plan on adding more varieties in the future.
Tiny Aquarium: Social Fishkeeping has, as the name elludes to, a social aspect. Players can meet with friends and explore their tanks, and they can even trade fish.
Events are planned for Tiny Aquarium as well, including A-Lotl Axolotl, which starts today and ends on July 7, 2025. After that, there are three more events planned, though none of them have dates yet:
- Marine Conservation
- Sakura Tide
- Black Market
