The 8.4 patch notes are here for theHunter: Call of the Wild, as the patch was released today along with the Scotland Hunting Reserve DLC and the Premium Trophy Mount Pack.
Patch 8.4 of theHunter: Call of the Wild has several new features and plenty of improvements. To kick things off, a new Wild Boar Great One is here.
With nine fur variations and several different tusk variations, players have plenty of game to search for.
There are also several new multimounts, including Buck and Brock, Claw and Order, Mischief Syndicate, and Boar Boys. Additionally, plaques and stands are now customizable. There are 16 new plaques and 40 new stands in Patch 8.4, along with 2 wall plaques specifically for the Layton Lake Trophy Cabin.
When it comes to improvements, there are several changes:
- Trophy Lodge UI now includes filters, more information on each trophy, and a preview option
- Red Deer, Wild Boar, and Roe Deer were remastered, along with more fur variations (2 for Red Deer, 2 for Wild Boar, and 2 for Roe Deer)
- 12GA Birdshot and 12GA Slugs no longer need the Shotgun skill to be used

Besides Patch 8.4, theHunter: Call of the Wild also received the Scotland Hunting Reserve DLC and the Premium Trophy Mount Pack.
The Scotland Hunting Reserve DLC added 19 missions that focus on 17 species to hunt, including five new ones (American Mink, Eurasian Pine Marten, European Badger, Eurasian Woodcock, and Red Grouse). There’s also a new semi-auto shotgun, the Benalhag 12G.
