The Steam Scream Fest 3D is here, bringing deals on nearly 2,800 titles for players right around Halloween.
Most of these games feature horror or spooky-related themes. However, they aren’t all here to scare players (although some, like Dead By Daylight, are trying to do just that). There are several cozy games with stereotypical spooky aspects, like Wylde Flowers, Cult of the Lamb, and Love, Ghostie are included in the sale.
There are also plenty of games to check out in every genre. If you’re looking for platformers, games like Death’s Door, Animal Well, and Hollow Knight fit the bill.
If you want a story-rich, atmospheric adventure-esque game, check out Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice (along with the second one in the series), Investigator, and Fear the Spotlight.
There are plenty of multiplayer horror games too, like Once Human, Sons Of The Forest (and its predecessor, The Forest), and V Rising. Of course, if you’re looking for more single-player exploration games, titles like Subnautica, Code Vein, The Last of Us, Vampire Survivor, and Returnal are great options.
Plus, hundreds of simulation games are on sale. Colony and base-building sims like Worshippers of Cthulhu, Against the Storm, and Cataclismo are fun options. You can even become a therapist for vampires in Vampire Therapist.
Deck-builders like Library of Ruina and Necroking are up for sale for card-game lovers, too. For those who enjoy racing games, titles like Future Racer 2000 and Zombie Driver HD are fun horror options.
If you’re looking to sit back and relax in the spirit of Halloween, visual novels like Beacon Pines, Slay the Princess – The Pristine Cut, Cute Bite, and Varney Lake are perfect. Point-and-click games are also great for this, like Strange Horticulture, Little Misfortune, and Prim.
Steam Scream Fest 3D sales will last until November 4 at 10am PT.
