Netmarble announced that The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, the open-world RPG based on the manga and anime of the same name from Nakaba Suzuki, will be coming to PlayStation 5, mobile, and PC at the same time around the world.

Along with the systems announcement, the upcoming open-world RPG is up for players to wishlist on both the PlayStation Store and Steam.

Origin isn’t the first RPG game set in the world of The Seven Deadly Sins. It’s actually considered the successor to The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, though Origin will be set in a new multiverse story.

All we know about the story so far is that Britannia is in chaos after time and space have mysteriously collided.

Players will travel Britannia as Meliodas and Elizabeth’s son, Prince Tristan. During the journey, they’ll collect heroes with unique abilities to build teams, including characters fans know and love and brand-new heroes.

There aren’t too many characters shown off yet, though Meliodas and Diane make an appearance in the gifs on the Steam page. There are also images of a pink-haired character with wings alongside Tristan, along with a pig.

When they’re not adventuring, players will be able to relax with fishing and cooking or explore the world around them.

Fans will also get to see the official trailer for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin at Summer Game Fest, which will be held on June 6, 2025.

For more gaming news, check out the Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact release date and details, along with the upcoming Western release of Umamusume: Pretty Derby.
