The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin was originally supposed to release on January 28, 2026, but it will now be released in March 2026. An official date hasn’t been announced quite yet, though.

Netmarble shared that this delay comes after the developers received feedback from the Closed Beta Test that was live late last year. A developer blog on The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin website goes into detail about the things that are being worked on in the next few months.

These changes are centered on tweaking the game’s controls, combat systems, and UI/UX.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin follows Prince Tristan, the son of Meliodas and Elizabeth, as he travels across a Britannia where time and space have collapsed. The multiverse setting also includes a diverse combat system.

The combat focuses on teams made of heroes that can be tagged in and out alongside a burst system. There’s also an elemental side that provides various attributes to each weapon, and heroes have three weapons. Several bosses have also been revealed, showcasing the different ways these combat systems function and the skills players will need to hone to take down enemies.

While The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin has been delayed, fans can still pre-register for it on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices (iOS and Android). When it does release in March, it will come to all consoles in all regions at the same time.
