The Crew Motorfest has wrapped up its first year, and The Crew Showcase 2024 shows that it’s planning an explosive Year 2 with fan-favorite playlists and a major content update.
The Crew Showcase 2024 opened with a brief about the last year of The Crew Motorfest before hopping into the upcoming content.
They also acknowledged the community complaints about the future of The Crew 2. An offline mode will be coming to both The Crew 2 and The Crew Motorfest. More news about this will be coming in the next few months.
To start with, a new grand tour of Maui will be coming on November 6. The stunning landscapes capture traditional Hawaiian culture and the modern influences on the island. The tracks include a red-sand beach, a city center, a trip to the House of the Sun, and scenic tracks around the various waterfalls and natural environments.
Season 5 is bringing back the Japan-favorite playlist from Season 2, Made in Japan. There will be new street racing squads, capturing the heart of the Japanese urban street racing scene for the second time.
After completing all the races, players will get aspect to the Rivals Raceboard. This lets you challenge specific rivals in one-versus-one races.
There was also a brief teaser for Season 6, noting that it’s yellow, red, and blue. This could be a hint at the locations it’ll feature, though the specific colors are common flag color combinations.
There are also several quality-of-life features coming, such as getting prestige tickets to use for special customization options. Mirrors are also being added, a feature fans have been begging for since the game was released.
The Chase Squad experience will be a premium playlist where players join Murdock, Glitch, and Sam to take down criminal speed racers. These special vehicles don’t take damage as they focus on ramming enemies to stop them in open-world chases. Plus, players will be able to use helicopters to stop these speedsters.
Season 5 will also include 20 new vehicles. Seven will be exclusive to the Chase Squad experience, while the rest will be monthly drops throughout the year.
The Year 2 Pass will include the Chase Squad, as will the Ultimate Edition of The Crew for new players. It will be available to wishlist soon.
Plus, players can grab the Lamborghini Urus for free for the next 24 hours, ending September 11.
