Bandai Namco has revealed the Season Three roadmap for Tekken 8, introducing the upcoming characters, an anniversary campaign event, new outfits, a major update, and more.
The season begins on February 10, 2026 (JST/CETm February 9 for PST), and it will launch will the Second Anniversary Campaign. The campaign will be available until March 16, and it includes five weeks of Shop deals and gifts. This includes free fan art character panels (which can be claimed in the shop), four customization item packs (which will release weekly and can be claimed in the shop), and new deals on outfits every week.
Bandai Namco has shared what these rewards will look like, along with the outfits that will be going on sale, and players can check them out below:
Once players purchase the Season Three pass, they will receive the Aurora Outfit Pack. This has outfits for all 40 of the characters from Seasons 1 and 2, and it will also include outfits for the characters released in Season 3.
Tekken 8 Season 3 will have four new characters, though only three have been revealed. In late Spring, Kunimitsu will join the roster, followed by Bob in Summer, and Roger Jr. in Autumn. The fourth character will be released in Winter (early 2027), alongside a new stage, too (which also remains unknown).
Players who have the Season 3 Pass will get access to the new characters and stage 120 hours earlier than the rest of players.
A major update to Tekken 8 will come on March 17, 2026, and it’ll include a variety of changes. Some of the biggest of these are the balance adjustments, rank reset, improved matchmaking logic, new features (including new item releases and sales), and the beta release of the Tekken Dev Feedback Portal.
For a more comprehensive breakdown of these, check out the reveal notes here. Patch notes that include the specific changes being implemented and more details will be released on March 17 when the update drops.
On May 1, 2026, the Tekken World Tour 2026 will kick off with EVO Japan 2026. The esports event will continue through the year until November 15, 2026, at TGU 2026. In between these events, there will also be the Esports World Cup 2026 and TWT 2026, and more news about those tournaments will be revealed later.
