Today, before the Tekken 8 tournament at Evo 2025 in Las Vegas, Bandai Namco revealed a brand new character and the release date of Armor King.
As is tradition, the news was delivered by Tekken boss Katsuhiro Harada and producer Michael Murray on stage.
First of all, we learn that Armor King will be released on Octiober 16, 2025, but those who purchased the season pass will be able to enjoy him in early access on October 13.
He’s the third character of the season pass 2, following Anna Williams and Fahkumram.
Perhaps even bigger news is the arrival of a completely new character that will follow after Armor King.
Her name is Miary Zo and she hails from Madagascar. She’ll also have a local map, named Baobab Horizon. Both will be released in Winter 2025.
We already knew that the last character of the season pass would be a new one, and Bandai Namco has indeed delivered on that promise.
While we don’t see her gameplay just yet, you can get a glimpse at her looks and at the map at the end of Armor King’s trailer below.
We also learn that the Global Finals of the Tekken World Tour 2025 will be held in Malmö, Sweden, between January 29 and February 1, 2026.
